Association of Children and Adolescent Counseling in Arkansas (ACACA) ACACA initiates and supports the improvements of school counseling programs through: information; research; legislation; professional development; and ethical standards, while upholding and encouraging continued improvements in standards for education. Find out more about ACACA here or visit our Facebook page. | Arkansas Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (ArAMCD) ArAMCD provides leadership, training and development for counseling professionals working in a pluralistic society, with a focus on ethnic issues. | Arkansas Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ArACES) ArACES facilitates interactions and interrelationships among counselor educators and supervisors to improve the quality of preparation, placement, supervision, and professional development of counselors. |
Arkansas Licensed Counselor Association (ArLCA) ArLCA provides an opportunity for committed professionals to communicate needs, goals, and accomplishments to other “like minded” members of the counseling profession. It also strives to create a social platform for strengthening the counseling profession while supporting the individual professional in their growth and development. | Arkansas Military and Government Counseling Association (ArMGCA) ArMGCA addresses the unique needs of clients and families in local, state, and federal government or in military-related agencies. This division is dedicated to clients and their families in both the mental health agency and schools. It will also collaborate with local, state, and military-related agencies. | Arkansas Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (ArSAIGE)ArSAIGE (formerly ALGBTIC) promotes a greater awareness and understanding of LGBT issues while working to create a safe and supportive environment for all students, regardless of sexual orientation. ArSAIGE supports human rights for all and embraces diversity. |
